Mark S. Newman
Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer

Mark S. Newman is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of DRS Technologies, Inc. He joined the Company in 1973, four years after its founding, and became President and CEO in 1994, after serving many years as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. He was named a director in 1988, and in 1995, was elected Chairman of the Board.

Under Mr. Newman’s leadership, DRS has become an established market leader on several of the most important 21st century military platforms and holds a key position in the markets it serves. The Company has grown from a small specialty electronics supplier to a highly diversified defense technology provider with annual revenues exceeding $3 billion. DRS is well positioned as one of the fastest growing defense technology companies in the world.

Mr. Newman is active with many important professional organizations. He is a director on the board of Business Executives for National Security (BENS) and a member on the Board of Governors of the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA). He also serves as a member of the Navy League of the United States, the National Defense Industrial Association, the Association of the U.S. Army and the Surface Navy Association, among other professional affiliations. He is a past chairman of the American Electronics Association (AeA).

Mr. Newman is also a director on the boards of Congoleum Corporation, Refac Optical Group and EFJohnson Technologies, Inc.

Mr. Newman earned a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a Master’s of Business Administration degree in financial management from Pace University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Newman has received numerous awards and honors. He is a recipient of the RADM John J. Bergen Industry Award, presented by the Navy League of the United States, as well as the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation Semper Fidelis Award. Other honors include induction into the New Jersey High-Tech Hall of Fame and the Tri-County Scholarship Foundation Hall of Fame. He is also a past winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Robert F. Mehmel
President, Chief Operating Officer

Robert F. Mehmel is President and Chief Operating Officer for DRS. In this position, he provides oversight of the company’s C4I, RS&TA, Sustainment Systems, and Technical Services Segments.

Under Mr. Mehmel’s tenure, DRS has grown to become a highly diversified defense technology provider and one of the fastest growing defense technology companies in the world, with annual revenues of $3.3 billion in fiscal 2008.

Mr. Mehmel joined the company in 2001 as Executive Vice President, Business Operations & Strategy, and has over 20 years of experience in corporate development, finance and strategic planning in the aerospace, defense and high-technology industries. He has been responsible for the review and analysis of corporate-wide operational activities, as well as the development and implementation of strategic planning initiatives to ensure the achievement of long-term business objectives. He also leads the company’s efforts for identification, analysis and qualification of acquisition candidates and the management of post-acquisition integration efforts.

Before joining DRS, Mr. Mehmel was Director, Corporate Development at Jabil Circuit, Inc. Prior to that, he was Vice President, Planning at L-3 Communications Corporation from its founding. At L-3, he was responsible for merger and acquisition-related activities, including integration efforts.

Additionally, Mr. Mehmel was responsible for operational activities, including financial planning, facilities planning and coordination of environmental, health and safety activities throughout the corporation. Earlier, he held various positions in divisional and corporate management with Lockheed Martin Corporation, Loral Corporation and Lear Siegler, Inc.

Mr. Mehmel earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Iona College and is a member of the board of directors of the United Industrial Corporation.

VADM Phillip M. Balisle, USN (Ret.)
Executive Vice President, Washington Operations

Vice Admiral Balisle joined the Company in 2005 as Senior Vice President, Maritime Strategic Plans and Programs and was promoted to Executive Vice President, Washington Operations, in April 2008. Prior to joining DRS, he was Commander, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), leading a team of 46,000 men and women nationwide in four shipyards, undersea and surface warfare centers, and the headquarters in Washington, D.C. Admiral Balisle's extensive 36-year military career included numerous shipboard assignments: Commanding Officer, USS Kidd (DDG 993); Commanding Officer, USS Anzio (CG 68); Commander, Cruise-Destroyer Group THREE; and Commander, USS Abraham Lincoln Battle Group, among others. He also served in significant assignments ashore, including Commanding Officer, Naval Communications Station, U.K.; Assistant Chief of Staff, Combat Systems, Naval Surface Forces, U.S. Atlantic Fleet; Director, Theater Air Warfare N865; Vice Commander, NAVSEA; and Director, Surface Warfare on the Staff of the Chief of Naval Operations. He earned numerous awards and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physical science and Master of Science degree in management.
VADM Mike Bowman, USN (Ret.)
Executive Vice President, Washington Operations

Vice Admiral Michael L. Bowman, USN (Ret.) joined the company as Senior Vice President, Washington Operations in 2001 and was promoted to Executive Vice President, Washington Operations in June 2005. Admiral Bowman's 35 years of military service included heading the Senate Liaison Office of the Secretary of the Navy, he later was appointed the Chief of Legislative Affairs, responsible for the coordination of all Department of the Navy issues in the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate. During his military career, Admiral Bowman completed more than 4,500 flight hours in 50 aircraft types, and logged in excess of 1,200 carrier landings. Admiral Bowman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kansas State University and was designated a naval aviator in 1967. He has received numerous military citations, including the Distinguished Service Medal, the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal.
Nina Laserson Dunn
Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Nina Laserson Dunn joined the Company in July 1997 as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. Previously, she was a partner in the corporate department of Hannoch Weisman, A Professional Corporation, where she concentrated on mergers and acquisitions, securities and general corporate counseling. Ms. Dunn is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey and is a member of the American, New York State and New Jersey State Bar Associations.
Richard A. Schneider
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Richard A. Schneider joined DRS in 1999 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company. He held similar positions at NAI Technologies, Inc. prior to its acquisition by DRS in February 1999. Mr. Schneider has over 30 years of experience in corporate financial management, including acquisitions, cash management, financial reporting, public and bank financing, and financial planning, having held senior positions in finance and management. Mr. Schneider earned Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in accounting from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
James M. Baird
President, Reconnaissance, Surveillance & Target Acquisition (RSTA) Segment

James M. Baird is President of the Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition Business Segment. Based in Dallas, Texas, he is responsible for directing the company’s business operation with an emphasis on maximizing growth, profit and return on invested capital. He also formulates the company’s strategies and policies and acts as the principal liaison with customers, the financial community and the general public. Mr. Baird has spent his career working to provide the war fighter with the best, most advanced equipment possible.

Baird is a 26-year veteran of the military electro optics industry. Prior to assuming the President of RS&TA position, Jimmy spent seven years as the Vice President and General Manager of DRS Infrared Technologies. Since being acquired from Raytheon in 1998, the infrared unit, under Jimmy Baird’s direction, has tripled its annual revenue and achieved profitability as a business unit; becoming one of the dominant players in the military uncooled focal planed array sector.

Baird began his career with Texas Instruments (TI) in 1971. Initially working as a manufacturing engineer in metal fabrication, he eventually served in a number of management positions with the company’s fabrication facility. In 1980, he began to focus on electro-optics while working as a manufacturing manager on TIs’ forward-looking infrared system for the United States Air Force F-117 Nighthawk Stealth Fighter. He later served as a member of the program management team on two major U.S. Army programs: the Chaparral Air Defense Infrared System and the Commander’s Independent Thermal Viewer development program, both involved extensive infrared system development and manufacturing.

Baird earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and his master’s degree in administration from Southern Methodist University. He is an avid golfer; an active member of the American Council on Thermal Imaging; serves on the Military Sensing Symposium Executive Committee and is an active member of his church and community.

Thomas G. Cornwell
President, Sustainment Systems Segment

Thomas G. Cornwell is President of the Sustainment Systems Business Segment, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Cornwell assumed these duties in October 2006 after serving for six months as Vice President and General Manager of the DRS Sustainment Systems small business unit, which was formerly part of the Sustainment Systems and Services (S3) Group.

Before becoming the Vice President and General Manager of this small business unit, in May 2006, Mr. Cornwell served for five years as President and Chief Executive Officer of Engineered Air Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of Engineered Support Systems, Inc. (ESSI), before it was acquired by DRS on January 31, 2006.

Before becoming President and CEO of EASI in 2000, Mr. Cornwell served in various positions in increasing responsibility in Systems & Electronics, Inc., another ESSI subsidiary, for 24 years. He began as a purchasing agent in 1976 and rose to the position of Director, Program Management.

Cornwell is active with many important professional organizations. He is a member of the Airlift Tanker Association, the Association of the U.S. Army, the National Defense Industrial Association, and the
U.S. Navy League.

Cornwell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and a Masters in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University. Since 1990, he has also been an adjunct professor at Webster University located in St. Louis.

Mitchell B. Rambler
President, Technical Services Segment

Dr. Mitchell Rambler is President of the company’s Technical Services Segment, which provides integrated communications, integrated security, and engineering and logistics solutions and services to primarily Department of Defense customers. The Technical Services Segment generates approximately $650 million annual revenues and employs 1,500 professionals worldwide.

Dr. Rambler is a senior executive with over 25 years of experience in managing businesses involving advanced technology and complex systems integration. He joined DRS Technologies in January 2006 with the acquisition of Engineered Support Systems, Inc. Prior to that, Dr. Rambler was the Senior Vice President for Military Operations at BAE Systems. Previous positions served include Senior Vice President for Corporate and Strategic Development at The Centech Group, International Sales Director for Perot Systems, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cyntergy Corporation, Chief Operating Officer of Universal Systems and Technology (UNITECH), and Corporate Executive Vice President and Sector President of Mantech International.

Dr. Rambler also served the government intelligence community and NASA. He earned a B.S. degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and an Ed.M. and Ph.D. in Space Science from Boston University.

Steven T. Schorer
President, C4I Segment

Steven T. Schorer is President of the Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Intelligence Business Segment. In this role, he leads four strategic business units. The units include: command, control and communications (C3), tactical systems, intelligence technologies and power systems.

Schorer has more than 20 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry, with a diverse background in general management, international business development, program management and engineering. Before assuming his position at DRS, Schorer served as President and General Manager of the Ocean Systems division of L-3 Communications, formerly a part of AlliedSignal. Under his management Schorer grew its revenue and backlog, while increasing profit and cash flow, transforming Ocean Systems into one of L-3’s most profitable businesses.

Before joining AlliedSignal, Schorer held senior positions at Lockheed Missiles and Space Company as a marketing executive and product line manager. Earlier, he held several challenging program management positions, as well as engineering assignments in radar, combat and weapon systems development, at Raytheon and Hughes.

Schorer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Massachusetts and performed coursework for a Masters of Business Administration degree at Pepperdine University. He also graduated from the executive management program at the Anderson School of Executive Management, University of California, Los Angeles.

Schorer is a member of the American Defense Preparedness Association, U.S. Navy Submarine League, National Helicopter Association and the Air Force Association.

Louis J. Belsito
Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer

Louis J. Belsito joined the Company in 1976 and has more than 35 years of experience in the defense industry. During his employment at DRS Technologies, he has held various positions in Engineering, Finance and Operations. Mr. Belsito has held senior level leadership roles in Program Management, Corporate Planning and Operations/Division Management. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering at NJIT and a Master of Science in Management Engineering at Long Island University.
Lawrence K. Brewer
Senior Vice President, Government Relations

Larry K. Brewer joined the Company as Senior Vice President, Government Relations in 2006. Previously, he was President of the Washington Operations of Engineered Support Systems, acquired by DRS in January 2006. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President, Business Development and also held senior management positions with ESCO Electronics Corporation, a predecessor company acquired by Engineered Support Systems, and Emerson Electric Co.'s Government and Defense Group. Mr. Brewer completed 20 years of military service, spending the last five in the Pentagon as the Military Assistant to two successive Secretaries of the Army. He serves on the Board of Trustees for the National Security Industrial Association (NDIA) and on the Board of Directors for the Government Electronic Information Technology Association, and formerly served on the Board of Governors for the Electronic Industries Alliance. He also has served in local, state and national positions with the Association of the U.S. Army. He is the past Chairman of the NDIA's Tactical Wheeled Vehicle Division and an active member of a number of other professional groups and associations, including the Society of Experimental Test Pilots. Mr. Brewer is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy, has an M.S. degree in systems management from the University of Southern California and an M.A. degree in national security studies from Georgetown University.
Thomas P. Crimmins
Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller

Thomas P. Crimmins joined DRS as Manager, Financial Reporting in 1999 and a year later was named Corporate Controller. Mr. Crimmins was promoted to Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller in June 2005. Prior to his employment at DRS Technologies, he worked in the audit and assurance practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. Mr. Crimmins received a B. S. in Accounting from Manhattan College and is a Certified Public Accountant.
R. Alan Gross
Senior Vice President, Compliance

Alan Gross joined the company as Executive Director, Corporate Contracts in 1991. In 1996, he was assigned as the Controller, DRS Electronic Systems and in 1999, was promoted to Vice President, Contracts and Compliance. Mr. Gross served in the U.S. Navy for 27 years, retiring as a Captain, Supply Corps, USN. During his 27 years of military service he served in various positions, including Deputy Director, Contracts and Business Management, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Shipbuilding and Logistics), and Commanding Officer, Navy Regional Contracting Center, Philadelphia. Mr. Gross earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of North Dakota and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan. He is also a graduate of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Andrea J. Mandel
Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Andrea J. Mandel joined the Company in 1989 and was named Director, Human Resources in 1993, Vice President in 1998 and Senior Vice President in 2005. She has more than 25 years of experience in accounting and human resources management. Ms. Mandel held related positions in the manufacturing, venture capital and engineering services fields prior to joining DRS. Ms. Mandel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Rutgers Graduate School of Business.
Durwood W. (Skip) Ringo, Jr.
Senior Vice President, Government Relations

Prior to joining the Company in April 2008, "Skip" Ringo managed military engine programs for General Electric (GE) Aviation throughout all agencies of the U.S. Department of Defense, representing defense, commercial and international engine programs, as well as various aspects of other GE business sector interests to the U.S. Congress. He has had an illustrious military career in the Marine Corps, serving initially in Vietnam as an aviator, followed by subsequent command and staff tours of increasing responsibility. A graduate of the Naval Test Pilot School and the Naval War College, he served a brief tour as the Marine Corps Liaison to the U.S. Senate, followed by Director of Senate Affairs for the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs. Upon retiring from the Marine Corps, he joined the Professional Staff of the Senate Armed Services Committee, where he was primarily responsible for Tactical Aviation programs, while also covering arms control and treaty issues. Skip received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the Citadel, a Master of Engineering degree in industrial engineering from the University of Florida and a Master of Arts degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the College of Naval Warfare. He also has completed the Kennedy School of Government's Program for Senior Executives in National and International Security at Harvard University. A finalist for NASA's Shuttle Astronaut Program, Skip is a member of the Society of Experimental Test Pilots.
Jason W. Rinsky
Senior Vice President, Corporate Taxation

Jason W. Rinsky joined DRS in 2006 as Senior Vice President, Corporate Taxation. Prior to his employment with DRS Technologies, he worked in the tax department of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Rinsky earned his undergraduate degree from Hamilton College and his Juris Doctorate and Masters in Business Administration degrees from Seton Hall University.
Robert Russo
Senior Vice President, Operations

Robert Russo joined DRS's Corporate Office in 1999 as Senior Vice President, Operations. Since 1995, he had served as Executive Vice President of the Company's Electro-Optical Systems Group. Mr. Russo joined the Company as Executive Vice President of DRS Photronics, Inc., which was acquired by DRS in 1988. Before the acquisition, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Photronics Corporation. Mr. Russo has over 25 years experience in financial and general management including, public and bank financing, acquisitions and operations, having held senior positions in finance and management.

Lt. GEN Jerry L. Sinn, USA (Ret.)
Senior Vice President, Land Warfare Strategic Plans & Programs

Lt. General Sinn joined the Company in January 2007 after a stellar 38-year career with the U.S. Army. During that time, he served as the Military Deputy for Budget to the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and Comptroller. Before that, he served as the Director of the Army Budget for the Assistant Secretary of the Army. He was a leader and chief strategist regarding Army budget matters in the last eight years of his Army career. Lt. General Sinn enlisted in the Army in 1968 and served in the Vietnam conflict as a "tunnel rat,” performing underground search-and-destroy missions in the very extensive underground tunnels and complexes that were pervasive in South Vietnam. Lt. General Sinn’s other assignments included tours of duty with engineer battalions and brigades, infantry divisions, personnel centers, and training and doctrine commands. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri, the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and the U.S. Army War College.

David W. Stapley
Senior Vice President, International Business Development and Government Relations

David W. Stapley joined DRS's Corporate office in 2004 as Senior Vice President, International Business Development and Government Relations and also is President, DRS Technologies Canada, Inc. Mr. Stapley has more than 25 years of experience in the international defense sector. Mr. Stapley joined the Company in October 1997 with the acquisition of the Applied Systems Division of Spar Aerospace Ltd. and was President of DRS's Flight Safety and Communications Group prior to the Company's realignment of operations in March 2004.
Alan Barkin
Vice President, Business Operations

Alan Barkin joined DRS as Director, Business Operations in October 2003 and was promoted to Vice President, Business Operations in April 2006. Prior to joining DRS, he held various financial management positions at American Express Company and Lockheed Martin Corporation. Mr. Barkin earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany and a Masters in Business Administration from St. John's University.
Mark A. Dorfman
Vice President, Corporate Counsel

Mark A. Dorfman joined DRS in September 2005 as Corporate Counsel and was promoted to Vice President in March 2006. Previously, he was an associate in the corporate departments of Lowenstein Sandler PC and Chadbourne & Parke LLP, where his practice included representation of corporate clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, public and private securities offerings and other complex transactions. Mr. Dorfman also regularly advised clients on securities law matters and corporate governance issues. He holds a J.D. degree from New York University School of Law and is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
W. Christopher Durborow
Vice President, Assistant Controller

W. Christopher Durborow joined the Company in 1999 as Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis and was promoted to Assistant Controller in August 2000. Prior to joining DRS, Chris worked at RJR Nabisco, Inc. in manufacturing operations and at Arthur Anderson & Co. in its audit and assurance practice. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Fairfield University and an MBA in Finance from Fordham University. He is a certified public accountant.
Richard Goldberg
Vice President, Public Affairs

Richard Goldberg joined DRS in October 2005. Prior to joining the Company, he served as President of the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey(CIANJ), New Jersey's premier business association. Prior to joining CIANJ, Mr. Goldberg was the Executive Director in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania for the American Electronics Association (AeA), the nation's largest technology trade group. In 2002, Mr. Goldberg was inducted into the New Jersey High-Tech Hall of Fame. He also serves as a Commissioner on the New Jersey Commission on Science and Technology. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Pratt Institute.
Michael W. Hansen
Vice President, Technology and Strategy

Michael W. Hansen joined the Company as Vice President, Technology and Strategy, in 2003. Previously, Mr. Hansen was head of the Advanced Video Processing research group at Sarnoff Corporation. Mr. Hansen has earned national recognition for his work with systems for signal and video processing, targeting, surveillance, night vision, unmanned systems, and command and control. Mr. Hansen earned Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters in Business Administration with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Donald G. Hardman
Treasurer

Donald G. Hardman joined the Company as Corporate Treasurer in 2002. He has more than 18 years of diverse and progressively responsible corporate treasury experience with multinational Fortune 500 companies. Previously, he acted as Assistant Treasurer at Exide Technologies and was Assistant Treasurer at U.S. Industries, Inc., a $2.7 billion multinational manufacturer and distributor. Mr. Hardman graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Montclair State University and holds a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from Rutgers Graduate School of Business.
Brian V. Karpoff
Vice President, Corporate Taxation

Brian Karpoff joined the Company in 1998 as Manager, Corporate Taxation. In 2004, he was named Director and in 2005 he was promoted to Vice President, Corporate Taxation. Previously, he served 17 years as Tax Manager / Assistant Controller of Cooperheat, Inc. a contracting and manufacturing company. He was part of a management team that purchased Cooperheat, Inc. in 1986, and resold the company in 1992, after six years of substantial sales and profit growth. He also held various positions in public accounting and banking. Mr. Karpoff has over 20 years experience in taxation, including mergers, & acquisitions, planning, compliance, international, and audit. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Rider University and a Masters of Science degree in Taxation from Seton Hall University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Albert S. Moran, Jr.
Vice President, Strategic Supply Chain Initiatives

Albert S. Moran, Jr. joined the Company as Director, Corporate Business Services, in March 2003. In June 2004, he was promoted to Vice President, Corporate Business Services. Mr. Moran has more than 18 years of corporate account management experience. Prior to joining DRS, he was Divisional Manager for Canon, Incorporated and National Account Manager for Pitney Bowes Facsimile Systems. He held similar positions at Omnifax/Telautograph Corporation and Motorola Communications. Mr. Moran holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, NY.
Steven L. Patterson
Vice President, Internal Controls

Steven L. Patterson joined DRS in March 2004 as Vice President, Internal Controls. Mr. Patterson has more than 21 years of experience in audit and finance, both in industry and in public accounting. Prior to joining DRS, he worked for Boeing in various corporate and divisional positions, most recently as Senior Manager, Corporate Audit. Prior to that, Mr. Patterson worked in the audit practice of Arthur Andersen &Co. Mr. Patterson received Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance from Minnesota State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Heather C. Sears
Vice President, Trade Compliance

Heather C. Sears joined the Company as Vice President, Trade Compliance in 2008. Previously, Ms. Sears served as the Director & Counsel, US Compliance & Security at Cobham plc, the Director & Counsel, International Trade Compliance for Smiths Technologies North America Inc., and the Director of Compliance at TRW Aeronautical Systems, where she successfully implemented numerous compliance programs. Other previous positions include legal counsel in both corporate and private practices. Ms. Sears has lectured extensively on international trade regulations and corporate compliance programs. She holds two Bachelor of Science Degrees from Francis Marion University, a Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in International Management from University of Maryland, and a Juris Doctorate Degree from University of Baltimore School of Law. Heather is licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland.
Audrey S. Stern
Vice President and Corporate Counsel

Audrey S. Stern joined DRS in 1999 as Corporate Counsel and was promoted to Vice President in February of 2003. Ms. Stern has more than 19 years of practical legal experience. Previously, she served as of counsel to Farer Fersko and prior to that was a Partner at Schachter & Stern. Ms. Stern graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University, and earned her MSW and JD degrees from Rutgers University.
David Sweet
Vice President, Environmental Health & Saftey

David Sweet joins DRS from L-3 Communications, where he was vice president and associate general counsel, environmental, health and safety. Prior to this position with L-3, he was a partner with international and regional law firms and also administered environmental, health and safety programs for Loral Corporation. His 30 years of environmental experience includes several technical and administrative positions with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
Matthew S. Weingast
Vice President and Senior Segment Counsel

Matthew S. Weingast joined DRS in 2007 as Senior Segment Counsel and was promoted to Vice President and Senior Segment Counsel in April 2008. Previously, he was an associate in the corporate department of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP where his practice included representation of corporate clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, strategic relationships and private equity transactions. In addition to his background as an attorney, Mr. Weingast has over 21 years of service in the US Army and US Army Reserve where he attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, served in leadership positions in cavalry, ground reconnaissance and military intelligence units and was awarded three Bronze Star Medals for his service in Iraq and Afghanistan. Mr. Weingast graduated with a B.A. from The American University and earned a Master?s of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the Joint Military Intelligence College and a JD degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
Patricia M. Williamson
Vice President, Investor Relations

Patricia M. Williamson joined the Company in 1983 and has over 30 years of experience as a corporate communications executive, including corporate communications, investor and financial relations, public and media relations, advertising and marketing communications. Prior to her employment at DRS Technologies, Ms. Williamson supervised technical publications at a U.S. Army base, and earlier was Art Director and Production Manager at Maler, Miller & Brown, an advertising agency. She has published and edited numerous articles in various defense industry and business publications and is a member of the Senior Roundtable of the National Investor Relations Institute and Communications Council of the Aerospace Industries Association, among other affiliations. Ms. Williamson graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
